40% Discount for Cotton Linen Lily of the Valley Panel

After making two bags out of this fabric, I am convinced and must admit it is somehow, badly printed. The straight lines aren't exactly parallel or perpendicular to the grain of the fabric itself. I spend about 1.5 hours staring at the remnants the second time, trying to figure out how to use the remaining for the bag in the top photo. 

In the end, it was achieved using patchwork.

While the result comes out fine, it took abit more brainwork to get the design out in order to maximise the use of the fabric.

I decided if my customers are going to go through this, I shall give a huge discount for the fabric.

On top of that, for the dollies, there are no seam allowance. I know, quite badly printed.

This is a tote bag for the children's teacher for Teacher's Day. It is made from the above panel.

Despite its shortcomings, the fabric colour, as you can see, is still very beautiful and can still be utilised to produce beautiful results. So if you like the print, please do not hesitate. :) 

Teacher's Day Tote Bag 1

Made this yesterday, and it was so therapeutic! And addictive. It was time to prepare dinner and I so did not want to leave my sewing.

It is just a very simple no frills tote bag. But I love the quality that the fabric lends to the bag. Cotton linen blend fabric is a bit thicker than cotton. For this bag, I did not use any batting or interfacing. But still it feels very good and solid.

I love the bag. I dun have such a nice bag for myself. Funny thing is, for all that I can sew, I carry hideous looking bags. I have yet to make a decent looking bag for myself yet. It's embarrassing.

I am reminded of how much I love to sew. But also how little time I have for it. Let's hope in the coming days, I will be able to put aside more time to do this.

Vintage World Map - Panel Cotton Linen Fabric

Beautiful, beautiful panel fabric of the world map, in cotton linen blend. I took pictures of every part of the world, and the whole panel is beautiful everywhere. It means everywhere in the world is beautiful~ :)

This panel is printed with the whole world map. You can use it as a whole, as the pin board idea in the last picture, or cut up and made into pouches as in the 3rd pic.

Each panel measures 55 x 29.5 inches / 140 x 75 cm.
